Along the top of the desktop is a [menubar,A3] with menus for file functions,
access to DOS 6.x programs (i.e. Defrag, Backup), and a special menu you
designed to launch programs of your choice.
On the desktop are [icons,A7] representing:
1) storage devices like disk drives, hard drives, and CD-Roms,
2) one icon looks like the recycle symbol and is for deleting files,
3) a Microsoft Windows icon is on the desktop for quick and easy access to
Windows,
4) an optional printer icon can be placed on the desktop for easy drag and
drop printing,
5) program Manager icons are setup by the user. See the On-Line Program
Manager help for more information.
You can add or remove icons useing the [File,A4] menu.
Left-clicking on a drive icon opens a [window,A8] with a directory inside.
Windows can be resized, moved and closed. The directory can be navigated with
the mouse. Files can be tagged or untagged with the right button. A tagged
file(s) can be dragged on the desktop with the left button. You can drop this
file(s) on any icon or window to copy, move, delete, or print.
